Dcolor GD1

The Dcolor GD1 is a compact 4K Android TV streaming stick built around Android TV 11, Google certification, Chromecast built-in and a Bluetooth voice remote. It plugs into a TV over HDMI and connects to the network using dual-band Wi-Fi.

Key features

  • 4K output up to 60fps
  • Android TV 11 with Google certification
  • Amlogic S905Y4-B quad-core processor
  • 2GB RAM and 16GB eMMC storage
  • Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0
  • Chromecast built-in and Google Assistant
  • Netflix 4K and Prime Video 4K certification reported by the UK distributor
  • HDR10+ support reported in current distributor/product documentation

What to know

The GD1 has no Ethernet port, so networking is wireless. Power is supplied over USB-C. Streaming-service subscriptions are separate from the device itself.

Software update note: World of Satellite currently reports an Android 14 OTA update is available for the GD1. The documented base operating system remains Android TV 11, so ViewHarbour is not treating Android 14 as the factory OS.

UK retailer check — 8 October 2026: World of Satellite listed the GD1 as out of stock when checked. Availability can change; confirm directly with the retailer. If you need an alternative now, compare the MECOOL KD3, noting that it has 8GB rather than 16GB storage.
