ViewHarbour welcomes relevant streaming-device review samples and loan units from manufacturers, distributors, PR agencies and retailers.
We are an independent UK consumer-technology publication specialising in streaming devices and connected-TV hardware. Our coverage is written for UK buyers comparing mainstream and specialist products before purchase, with strengths, limitations and real buying trade-offs presented clearly.
What we review
We are primarily interested in streaming sticks, Android TV and Google TV devices, Fire TV hardware, Roku devices, premium streaming boxes, Freeview/streaming hybrids and closely related accessories where they are genuinely useful to UK buyers.
How review samples are handled
- Review samples do not guarantee positive coverage. Editorial conclusions remain independent.
- Loan units are welcome. If a product must be returned, return arrangements should be agreed before dispatch.
- Retained samples are disclosed where relevant. Keeping a product does not affect its verdict or ranking.
- Embargoes can be respected when the date and conditions are agreed in writing before material is supplied.
- We do not accept payment for guaranteed editorial conclusions or for removing legitimate drawbacks from a review.
What hands-on testing can include
Depending on the product, ViewHarbour may assess setup, interface responsiveness, streaming performance, storage, networking, app availability, picture and audio behaviour, remote control quality, ports, HDMI behaviour, heat and stability, build quality, value and other factors that materially affect UK buyers.
Hands-on reviews use a structured test record so scores, observations and test conditions can be retained alongside the editorial draft. Hands-on claims are reserved for the exact hardware tested. Catalogue specifications and manufacturer documentation are kept separate from experiential observations.
Why work with ViewHarbour
ViewHarbour is focused specifically on the UK streaming-device market. Product coverage can feed into individual reviews, comparisons, buying guides, the Device Finder and the Best Devices shortlist where editorially appropriate.
A suitable product can therefore be evaluated in the same context in which UK buyers are already comparing alternatives, rather than appearing as an isolated promotional feature. Where relevant, readers can then follow clearly labelled retailer links to check current availability and pricing.
Retailer and affiliate partnerships
ViewHarbour is open to relevant retailer and affiliate relationships that improve purchase options for UK readers. Commercial relationships remain separate from editorial scoring, rankings and conclusions, and retailer inclusion does not guarantee favourable coverage.
Review and press contact
For review samples, loan units, press enquiries, retailer partnerships or related editorial correspondence, contact editorial@viewharbour.co.uk.
What to include with a review enquiry
For the fastest assessment, please include the product name, UK availability, current or intended UK price, launch date if relevant, whether the unit is a loan or review sample, any embargo date, and a link to the official UK product or support information.
If you prefer, you can also use the Contact page.
Editorial independence
Supplying hardware does not buy a recommendation, placement or favourable wording. ViewHarbour may choose not to publish coverage if a device is outside scope or does not offer enough value to UK readers. Any material factual correction will be considered against the underlying evidence.
