Our take

Humax AuraEZ is the specialist choice for UK households that want modern Freely streaming without giving up traditional aerial recording. Its 2TB hard drive can store up to 1,000 hours and it can record up to four aerial channels while you watch a fifth.

Who it suits

Choose it if recording terrestrial TV is a priority and you also want Freely, 4K HDR, Wi-Fi and Ethernet in one box.

What to know first

Recording requires an aerial and applies to broadcast channels rather than Freely’s streamed IP channels. Humax also states that Netflix and Amazon Prime Video are not supported, so this is a recorder first rather than an all-purpose streaming-app box.
